The CCFOWR values community and has a responsibility to offer a "hand up", empowering the life journey of the marginalized and vulnerable within the Region of Waterloo, with a focus on youth. We believe in inclusion and equity and alignment with the 7 Social Teachings of the Catholic Church. We are committed to cooperating and collaborating with community partners in all sectors to support and evolve common goals.
As 2025 begins, our Foundation will continue to address the community needs responding with a emergency support Food Card program for our families, schools and parishes.
School principals and parish leads should forward a request using the format for supporting information as was shared in October 2023. Requests for consideration should be directed to Christopher Gehan, President, email: chrisgehan@ccfowr.ca .

School, Parish & Community Grants Program
In September 2024, the board of directors approved the annual grant program that runs through calendar 2025, the extent of which relates to the financial capacity of the Foundation. A critical consideration will have been the fundraising success of the organization throughout the year. Proceeds from fundraising initiatives such as the annual Links fore Learning Golf Classic, a Trivia and Pasta Event and a WCDSB payroll contribution program are rolled into our disbursements under this program and our food/gift cards.
The Foundation has also committed grant support to the Tiny Home Kitchen at St. Mary's Parish.
The generosity shown by our community through direct donations is very important!
